Hospital 57357 - Egypt

Hospital 57357, based in Egypt, is one of the largest children’s cancer hospitals in the world, established in 2007, to provide the best comprehensive, pediatric-centered quality of care, free of charge and without discrimination.

We were commissioned by global technology company, Oracle, to produced a short documentary looking at how technology is being used to keep the hospital running as efficient and cost effectively as possible which is especially vital for an institution entirely funded by donations.

We travelled to Cairo, Egypt, and worked with additional local crew, for a packed 3 day shoot consisting of Interviews and supporting b-roll in. We witness 1st hand, the amazing work of this super busy hospital who treat thousands of children every year.

Our film takes the often dry subject of data analysis and sets it against the background of this amazing life saving work, telling an emotive human story about how this technology can 'help make children's lives better'. As well as this 3 minute cut, we provided a longer in depth version , as well as a shorter cut for use on social media.
